Joy in His commands
Duty
God created men in His own image and dressed them with strength and knowledge, so that they would dominate the world with the ability to attain truth and freedom inasmuch as image of God, Who is true and upright, realizing happiness in obedience to the commandments with fear of the Lord.
Because justice alone easily becomes injustice, mercy is needed to follow the commandments, to seek pardon for sins, to hope and rely on God’s standard, because the Redeemer never put to shame those who trust Him.
The redeemed responds with joy, praise and thanksgiving for the gift of life, as they are called to participate through Christ in the life of grace and in unending communion with God, our Creator and Father.
