Responsibility for cooperation to God's designs
Responsibility
Life in the Spirit leads to freedom and responsibility, to be able to apply the Law with conscience and reason.
Each grace calls to the responsibility to realize soon God’s plans with the free cooperation of the just.
The yes of Mary procured the Incarnation of the Son and that the Word is received thanks to the apostles’ voluntary response to the Lord’s call.
St. John Paul II composed[1] a prayer to Mary to invoke an alive sense of responsibility.
O Virgin full of courage,
May your spiritual strength and trust in God inspire us,
so that we might know how to overcome all the obstacles
that we encounter in accomplishing our mission.
Teach us how to treat the affairs of the world
with a real sense of Christian responsibility
and a joyful hope of the coming of God’s Kingdom,
and of a “new heaven and a new earth” .
